Location: London based – extensive travel

Salary: £80,000 to £90,000

Our client is an innovative and fast growing food retail company. Their portfolio currently has over 600 outlets in operation around the world and it continues to grow. Their concept is unique and is to be found in highly desirable, high foot-fall areas.

To support their continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experience Project Management Officer. This is a key leadership role to report directly to the CEO and work across business areas and platforms. You will be tasked with standardising, streamlining and guiding a broad variety of projects; introducing best practice, frameworks, templates and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • To coordinate all the projects across the organization and give guidance and support to make sure that projects are run in a repeatable, standardised way.

  • Create structured schedules and project plans based on project goals, resources, risks assessment, time to market and budget constraints.

  • Play an integral role during the initial planning stages for any project; this involves tracking deadlines, deliverables, resources, and timelines throughout the projects processes.

  • Hold owners accountable for their commitments and conduct project team meetings to provide status updates and identify and resolve issues.

    No two projects will be exactly the same but what is key is the maintenance of continuously high standard to which they are carried out. The ideal candidate must be agile and capable of adapting plans based on evolving needs, conditions or issues.

    Ultimately you will be responsible for ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery in accordance with the project goals.

    As Project Management Officer you will partner with colleagues in different roles to assess the workloads and impacts for different departments and therefore be able to identify dependencies and possible issues across teams and sort them out!

    You will also need the strength of character and weight of experience to act as a challenger to Project Owners, both at central and country level, ensuring that the projects outputs are in line with the Company Strategic plan.

    During the planning process, the PMO will develop and communicate clear and actionable deliverables or activities to be completed and will create KPIs in accordance with each project and company targets.
