Telesales Manager-FMCG National Food Business!

£28,000-£33,000 + Commission 

East London

If you are a driven individual who is capable of thinking outside the box and have a passion for sales? then I need to hear from you!

Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for a very energetic and enthusiastic salesperson to create and manage all the elements that make for a successful telesales team.

You oversee the daily running and management of the Telesales Team, ensuring that all sales targets are met and all training and development needs are delivered.

Ideally, you will have both sales and management experience gained in the foodservice sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage, coach and support the Sales team to achieve set company targets.
  • Support the company in the implementation and review of a sales strategy.
  • Support the company in helping to maintain professional working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Manage and support team members, individually and as a group, to achieve set sales, budget targets & KPI’s
  • Submit a monthly Sales Report to the Sales Director.
  • Conduct support visits, reviews, and appraisals in line with company policy.
  • Hold monthly sales meetings that report and update on the progress of the team.
  • Identifying and developing new products and brands in response to market trends and customer demands.

Key requirements:

  • Successful sales background with a minimum of 2 years managing a telesales/sales teams.
  • Experience of working within foodservice sector.
  • Able to lead, motivate, train/coach & develop skill set to direct line reportees & manage their performance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal & external customers agreeing process & measurements where/when necessary. 
  • Organised, planned, PC literate able to work to targets, deadlines and under pressure.
