Amsterdam Canal Pride 2026

We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Gay Soccer Amsterdam and FC Unity for Amsterdam’s 2026 Canal Pride, part of World Pride, to turn this year’s Pride into the loudest stadium in the world.

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

While soccer belongs to everyone, many LGBTQIA+ individuals, especially in top-level soccer, still struggle to feel safe and accepted as their true selves.

We would be honoured to have you join us in this mission.

Gay Soccer Amsterdam: they are an informal Amsterdam-based football group for gay men and members of the LGBTQ+ community. They are a recreational team where players of different ages and abilities meet regularly to play 5-a-side football in a fun, inclusive and welcoming environment focused more on enjoyment and community than competitive sport. They are recognised within the Dutch football and LGBTQ+ sports scene; for example, featured by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) in stories about queer football communities. They often collaborate with other LGBTQ+ sport and pride organisations (like Pride Amsterdam events) to raise visibility and inclusion in football. (Instagram account)
