Black History Month

Black History Month is an important time, throughout the world, to celebrate and recognise the pivotal role Black individuals have played and are playing in shaping society, culture, politics, science, and many other fields.

Black History Month serves as a reminder that Black history is not confined to a single month but should be acknowledged and integrated into history throughout the year.

By understanding and appreciating historical and contemporary achievements and reflect on the progress that has been made, we can foster a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable society.

Throughout October, we will be celebrating the legacy of remarkable individuals who have and are contributing to the improvement of society.

This year, Black history month is focusing on ‘Saluting Our Sisters’ and the #WEMATTER movement.

By engaging in meaningful conversations, we hope to uncover the stories that have shaped our guests’ journey, the challenges they have faced, and the victories they have celebrated along the way.

These interviews will approached personal heritages and cultural backgrounds that have shaped out interviewees careers, obstacles or challenges in today’s society, equality, diversity and inclusion, improvements, the role of technology and social media…

Let us celebrate the past, embrace the present, and work together to create a future that is characterised by unity, understanding, and respect for all individuals, regardless of race, ethnicity, sex, or gender.

Together, we can build a world where every voice is heard, and every contribution is valued
