Salary: €60.000 +15% kpi bonus + travel allowance + much more
I am working on an exciting opportunity and I am looking for an experienced HR Business Partner (Benelux Region) to make a positive impact across Netherlands and Belgium, based in the Netherlands with flexible working arrangements.
About the Role
Reporting to the Regional HR Business Partner, you will provide people advice, guidance and support to their General Managers, Management teams and Front-line team members.
You’ll lead, engage, and enable them to deliver a business plan, drive HR KPI’s, support in managing staffing budgets and man-power planning and advise on employee relations issues.This is an exciting new role for the Benelux Region and a standalone role for these markets (however you will have support from the Regional HR Business Partner).
However, the role is part of the wider Midway Europe HR Team, so you will be part of a group of HR professionals across the wider Europe region.
This is a broad and demanding generalist HR role where you’ll need to adapt your approach to diverse business needs.
You’ll handle employee relations and legal matters, evaluate training and development needs, co-ordinate senior recruitment and act as a central point of contact for advice and guidance for the management team .
You will champion initiatives in their People Strategy that will shape the HR processes across the division, identifying and implementing change and empowering those around you to deliver exceptional HR practices.
These include Engagement, Reward, 'Force for Good' and Diversity and Inclusion all with the focus on making the venues the very best place in the world to work and visit.
The is a full-time permanent role, predominantly working Monday to Friday. There will be regular travel throughout the Netherlands and Belgium, so a flexible approach and willingness to travel is essential.
You are not new to the world of HR/People leadership and along with a proven generalist HR background as an HR Manager or Business Partner (ideally with multi-site experience) in a commercially focused, fast paced environment and a relevant professional HR qualification, you’ll bring exceptional leadership skills and a highly motivated team orientated approach. This will be matched with operational experience, a genuine interest in our brands and a sound understanding of working within a commercial environment.
The ability to communicate effectively (Dutch is essential, French would be a definite plus) with stakeholders at all levels will also be highly valued as will the ability to take tough business decisions and sensitively handle people issues.
