Business Development Executive – Venue
£30,000 - £35,000

Our client is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their central team responsible for the venue portfolio within their catering company. Supporting the Business Development Manager you will work across the entire portfolio assisting with proactive sales and referrals.

Main duties;

  • Be able to sell across all venues and refer business
  • Act as main point of contact for the client from enquiry through to handover to the operations team
  • Handle the entire sales and referral process
  • Liaise with wider venues teams and refer event enquiries
  • Proactively grow and develop relationships
  • Attend networking events, exhibitions and open days to engage with clients
  • Create business reports and identify where revenue can be increased


  • Previous experience with corporate and private event sales
  • Experience handling reactive enquiries
  • Target driven, proactive and out-going
  • Able to deal with a wide variety of clients at all levels
  • Experience working for an events caterer, venue or agency
  • Can-do, positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills
