Employability training

They run skills-focused programmes—covering both hard and soft skills—mentoring, and work placements aimed at helping unemployed or disadvantaged individuals secure sustainable jobs in hospitality and tourism 

Education initiatives

Collaborating with schools, colleges, and universities, Springboard enhances curriculum delivery to prepare students for hospitality careers, including hands-on activities, career events, and cooking challenges like FutureChef 

Career advice & industry support

Through their CareerScope hub and other channels, they provide expert career guidance, host events, and connect job seekers with employers like Hilton, Starbucks, Compass, and Nando’s 

Impact by the numbers

Around 2,760 individuals trained annually, with 74% securing employment in hospitality

• Engaged over 40,000 school students through educational outreach
• Through their “Springboard to 2022” initiative, they've helped more than 10,000 people gain employment in hospitality

Recognition

Recipient of the Hilton Effect Foundation grant in both 2020 and 2021 to expand training programmes for young and unemployed individuals

• Awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Volunteering Award in 2022 in recognition of their exceptional volunteer-led work for 16–25 year olds.
