Open days can be arranged as a bespoke package or attached to a pre-existing search. They can be extremely effective when addressing large volume recruitment, multiple openings, short time frames or company expansions and restructures. A very trendy and unique restaurant group is opening a multi-faceted concept that includes a contemporary bar/kitchen and a sky lounge in one of the largest hotel developments in Benelux.
Sourcing, head-hunting, screening local and international candidates willing to relocate to Amsterdam by May 2020; from Food Runners to General Managers, Commis Chef to Head Chef.
Our first priority was to make sure we understood our clients company culture and vision. Once aligned, we identified businesses with high calibre candidates to actively target. Our consultants also utilised extensive networks and searched our database to hone in on suitable applicants. Simultaneously we marketed each role based on the ideal candidate profile, through select channels that are most appropriate for reaching that specific audience. After generating a long list of interested candidates, our consultants pre interviewed and screened candidates before generating a short list for the open day.
After discussing and narrowing the short list with the hiring companies input, briefed the short listed candidates on the business, familiarising them with the opportunity and arrange for their attendance on the day. We then worked collaboratively with the hiring team to insure a smooth running of the open day.
We generated over 400 interested, highly targeted candidates which resulted in the top 40 attending the recruitment day. This lead to 23 successful placements in the Amsterdam location. In addition, 20 candidates are still in process for other sites with the same client.
