Dan Hughes

I’ve spent my entire working life in hospitality, starting out as a bartender and waiter, with a very short stint as a chef, before working my way through management and ultimately into Director-level roles across bars, restaurants and hotels.

Seven years ago, after 10 years living abroad, I moved back to the UK and made the transition into recruitment. I joined COREcruitment and quickly found my place. Today, I oversee a team specialising in Contract Catering & Facilities Management, as well as Property and Venues & Events.

Footballer or a Pilot (rubbish at football and afraid of heights).

Trying to figure out what people do when they aren’t working, you don’t get much time off in hospitality.
