Michelle Wells

Growing up working in Restaurants in South Africa, I am an avid foodie and love all aspects of hospitality! I started with COREcruitment in 2006 where I headed up

the UK Chef Division. I returned to S.A. in 2009 and started the International Division. 

I am now covering the Middle East, Africa and Asia markets and recruit for a variety of roles from Management & Sous Chef level upwards to CEO / COO positions, across Restaurants, Hotels, FMCG and Facilities Management sites. I also look after all support roles: HR, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Engineering – you name it and I always give it my best shot!

I think the most rewarding thing about working in recruitment really is about being able to make a difference in people lives, especially if they are relocating

to join an amazing company – it is life changing for them and we have the honour of being part of that!

 

Outside of work, you will find me in the mountains with my dogs or on the farm with my horses … I rescue and feed everything!

What do you enjoy most?

We have a really good team here at COREcruitment and very strong support structure! I love the diversity of my role which allows me to cover very different positions in a number of exciting destinations across Middle East, Asia and Africa, so it really keeps me on my toes!.

What did you want to be when you were younger?

A Vet (no big surprise here!)

What do you do when you're not at work?

You will find me hiking in the mountains with my dogs or chilling on the farm with my horses. Also very involved with EARS which is an Animal Rescue Organisation in my local town, working with donkeys and horses.
