I was pretty reserved until I hit about 16, then something just clicked, suddenly, I wouldn’t stop talking.
Back then, I wasn’t really sure what direction I wanted to take or what career to pursue. So, at 18, I decided to head to university to study Business and Management, all while working part-time in a bar.
That experience was huge for me. It wasn’t just about the degree; it helped me realise that I thrive in roles where I get to connect with people directly.
I discovered I wanted to be in a sales-oriented job where I could face clients and build real relationships.
Fast forward four years, and I’ve been working in recruitment, which perfectly combines those elements.
At COREcruitment, I am focusing on Business Development specifically within the hospitality sector, an area I’ve been passionate about since my Uni days behind the bar.
I’ve spent my whole career in recruitment since graduating through that little thing called Covid. I’ve seen the highs and lows of recruitment and that’s what has helped me understand what works (and what doesn’t) when it comes to growing great teams. What I enjoy most is partnering with businesses long-term, not just sending CVs, but actually solving hiring problems. In a nutshell I like to keep things clear, honest, and I like to make the process as far from transactional as possible. If you’re looking to build a team and want to work with someone who knows the space (and won’t just shoehorn you anything with a LinkedIn profile), let’s talk.
I always had the idea of being a footballer but soon realised that I had 2 left feet!
Outside of work, I’m always on the lookout for the best new restaurants and bars to try across London and Cambridge. I’m also a Tottenham season ticket holder and a fan of pretty much any sport you can think of. When I’m not watching football or exploring somewhere new, I’m being kept on my toes by my pet dog!
