OOHController – NationalF&B business – National – Up to £75,000 pluspackage

My client is a leading andwell-knownbrandedF&Bbusinessoperatingat anationallevel, with an exceptionaltrack recordin growth across the On and Off trade. This business has an iconic portfolio of products withsignificantgrowth this year.

We are looking for an OffTrade Controller who can lead andoptimizethewholesale andbuyinggroupstrategy, develop and grow the existing business andmanagethe field sales function to ensure brand growth. The OffTrade Controller will directlybe responsible fornational relationshipsincludingBrakes, Bidfood and Creed.

This is a fantastic role for someone who is hungry and ambitious. Candidatesare required tocome from a senior level within a Drinks FMCG business with a proventrack recordin commercial successacross accounts mentioned.

OffTrade Controllerresponsibilities include:

  • Take ownership of theoff-trade P&L across key wholesale and foodservice partners.

  • Build and optimise route-to-market strategies, ensuring effective coverage across wholesalers, managed groups, and independents.

  • Analyse market dynamics and competitive trends toidentifygrowth opportunities and areas of focus.

  • Implement commercial planning processes, ensuringaccurateforecasting, budget delivery, and alignment to businessobjectives.

  • Manage and strengthen wholesale relationships, securing long-term partnerships that unlock business growth.

  • Develop regional on trade sales strategies, balancing new business acquisition with account development.

  • Act as a senior commercial leader, providing strategic insights to the executive team and influencing the wider commercial agenda.

The IdealOffTrade Controller:

  • Proven leadership experience within the drinks industry, ideallyacross multiple categories.

  • A strongtrack recordof managing field sales teams and delivering growth in the OffTrade.

  • Expertisein wholesale and route-to-market structures within drinks FMCG.

  • Demonstrable success in commercial planning, P&L ownership, and market analysis.

  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage customers at all levels.

  • Ambition, drive, and a strategic mindset paired with hands-on execution.
