Salary: $65,000–$72,000

Position Overview
An established private club in South Carolina is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support daily restaurant operations, lead front-of-house teams, and deliver exceptional service to members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily restaurant operations, ensuring consistent service standards and an outstanding guest experience.
- Supervise, train, and develop front-of-house team members.
- Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities, events, and operational updates.
- Monitor staffing, scheduling, payroll, and labor costs to meet budget targets.
- Assist with financial reporting, closing procedures, and gratuity administration.
- Manage beverage inventory, ordering, and stock levels.
- Collaborate with culinary leadership to improve menus and service delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety and alcohol service standards.
- Support other club restaurants, banquets, and catering operations as required.
Qualifications
- At least two years of relevant restaurant or food and beverage management experience; private club or resort experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, labor controls, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent guest service skills and a hands-on approach to restaurant operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
