Salary: US$175,000 tax-free + US$20,000 target bonus

We are seeking an accomplished Assistant General Manager / Resort Operations leader to join a prestigious luxury resort community in The Bahamas.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious hospitality professional to act as the senior operational leader and Number Two to the COO/General Manager, bringing structure, accountability and strong day-to-day leadership to a complex luxury operation.
The Role
- Oversee day-to-day operations across Hotel Operations, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering & Maintenance and Guest Experience
- Drive operational standards, service delivery and consistency across the resort
- Lead workforce planning, team performance and cross-departmental communication
- Work closely with senior leadership to bring structure, accountability and operational insight to the operation
- Serve as the senior on-the-ground leader, ensuring departments are aligned and operating to the highest standards
- Be highly visible and hands-on, while maintaining the commercial and leadership perspective expected at an executive level
- Partner with the COO/General Manager on strategic and operational priorities
- Act as a key leader in the continued growth and evolution of the resort
The Ideal Candidate
- Significant experience within luxury hotels, resorts or large-scale hospitality operations
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-department operations
- Strong operational knowledge across multiple hotel departments
- 3+ years of tenure with previous employers is required
- Excellent leadership and people-management skills
- Commercially minded, structured and highly organized
- Confident enough to challenge, influence and support senior leadership
- Hands-on leader with exceptional attention to detail
- Able to earn the respect of both senior executives and operational teams
- Caribbean or island-resort experience highly advantageous
Compensation & Benefits
- US$175,000 tax-free annual salary
