We’re seeking a talented, passionate culinary professional to join an established restaurant in Philadelphia’s historic Old City neighbourhood.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced chef who thrives in a smaller, intimate dining environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional food, maintaining high standards and creating memorable guest experiences.
We’re open to candidates at Executive Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef level, with compensation tailored to the individual’s experience and capabilities.
The Role- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality and smooth service.
- Contribute to menu development, bringing creativity and a strong understanding of flavour, seasonality and presentation.
- Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, preparation, presentation and kitchen organisation.
- Manage food costs, ordering, inventory and waste control to support profitability.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation and health regulations.
- Work closely with the wider restaurant team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
- Previous experience as an Executive Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef.
- A strong culinary foundation and passion for quality ingredients and thoughtful menu execution.
- Proven ability to lead a kitchen team and maintain high standards during service.
- Understanding of food costing, inventory management and kitchen operations.
- A hands-on approach, strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in an intimate restaurant environment.
