We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a boutique resort in Honduras. This position plays a critical role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring a seamless, high-quality guest experience in a personalized, upscale environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 3–4 years’ experience managing teams within a hospitality setting
- Previous background as a Front Desk or Guest Services Manager (essential)
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and operational efficiency
- Exposure to housekeeping and basic maintenance functions (preferred)
- Experience within boutique, luxury, or lifestyle properties (advantageous)
- Comfortable working in a remote/island environment with strong problem-solving ability
- Familiar with PMS systems such as Opera Cloud
- Based in Honduras or the wider Central American/Caribbean region (e.g., Guatemala, Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador), or open to relocating
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: USD $3,000 – $3,500 per month
- Performance-based bonus: approx. USD $500 per month
- Housing allowance provided
- Temporary accommodation on arrival
- Flights provided
- 10 days annual vacation (increasing year on year)
- 13th & 14th salary paid in accordance with local law (distributed across monthly pay)
- Local health insurance
