Salary: $85,000
Location: Miami, Florida

We are hiring on behalf of a prestigious luxury property seeking a Sous Chef to support a high-performing culinary operation in a fast-paced, upscale environment. This is a hands-on leadership role for a culinary professional passionate about quality, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily kitchen operations in a high-volume scratch kitchen
  • Supervise line staff and ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and food cost control
  • Partner with senior culinary leadership on service execution and menu standards
  • Maintain sanitation, safety, and kitchen compliance standards
  • Assist with training, coaching, and development of culinary team members
  • Respond quickly to operational challenges during service periods

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of similar culinary leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and cost management
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, 24-hour hospitality environment
  • Post-secondary culinary education preferred
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
