How was the re-opening of your business and how was it carried out in line with safety procedures put in place to allow social distancing? 

Having delivered training face to face for the last 4 years meant going online but not just operating training sessions and coaching session virtually but having to figure out how to get the same or similar connections  I would have done in a live class room so the impact of my training would remain the same.

How is the general feeling and feedback from your team members and your customers now the lockdown is over? 

Great! As a team we are able to work around own individual commitments and still be collaborative and have good communication with apps like, google docs, Trello and Slack and will continue this style of flexible working as the pandemic continues. 

The efforts that we have gone through to make a connection through virtual platforms for training, coaching and client liaison has made relationship with our clients stronger and meant that we can survive future lock downs the growth of the digital age.

What role has technology played in supporting your re-opening plan?

Huge! We have created a virtual office and culture throughout lockdown and re – opening means we can bring this way of working into our business outside of COVID-19

What market trends are you seeing since re-opening?

Many businesses are having to transform the way they do things to include the digital age from internal CRM & IT systems to customer engagement and finding customers online. 

What techniques have you used to build sales and re-engage customers?

We have increased sales by using past, present and future trends, data and analytics to reach our business objectives. 

We have also had to re – learn algorithms on the major digital advertising platforms to get better conversations for our own brands and clients. 

What positive lessons do we need to learn from what the industry has been through?

 How to adopt to change and the importance of a continuity plan.
