General Manager Retail – Greater London – £60,000 + package
An exciting opportunity for an experienced retail leader to drive the transformation and delivery of a large-scale multi store retail operation, in a single location.
The purpose of the role is to create a more consistent, consumer-led and commercially focused retail model across a complex, fast paced operation.
You will lead and support a team of Store Managers to ensure consistent delivery of brand standards, exceptional customer experiences, and compliance with landlord and operational expectations. This role requires full-time site presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers to maximise performance, strengthen capability, and drive operational excellence.
- Ensure consistent delivery of brand standards and an exceptional customer experience across all store locations.
- Analyse sales and operational performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement.
- Support the successful implementation of new initiatives, promotional campaigns, and operational changes across the region.
- Inspire and motivate store teams to deliver outstanding customer service while achieving sales and operational targets.
- Oversee workforce planning, scheduling, inventory management, and visual merchandising to ensure efficient store operations.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, brand standards, and operational policies.
About You
- Senior retail leadership experience within multi-site environments.
- Proven track record of retail transformation and commercial growth
- Strong expertise in category management, pricing and retail formats
- A people centric leader
- Commercially driven, consumer-focused and data-led
- Strong stakeholder management and change leadership capability
