General Manager – Contract Catering – Leicestershire – Up to £40,000
We're recruiting a General Manager to lead a busy contract catering operation supporting a major construction project in the Midlands.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Catering Manager or General Manager looking for a stable, long-term role with genuine progression opportunities. You'll take full ownership of the operation, leading a team, managing client relationships and ensuring a consistently high-quality food offer for approximately 500 customers each day.
With a Monday to Friday operation, daytime hours and a project expected to run for at least another three years, this role offers excellent stability and work-life balance!
The Offer
- £38,000 - £40,000 salary
- Monday to Friday operation
- Daytime hours (6:00am - 4:00pm)

The Role
- Lead the day-to-day operation and site team.
- Build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure a consistent and attractive food offer.
- Manage labour, food costs and site budgets.
- Review sales, reports and financial performance.
- Deliver themed days, events and site engagement activities.
- Drive service standards, compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Support the team with a hands-on leadership approach.
About You
- General Manager, Catering Manager or Deputy Manager experience.
- Strong contract catering or B&I background.
- Reliable, consistent and committed to long-term roles.
