Marketing Manager

We are working with a prestigious group of event venues to recruit a Marketing Manager to lead the commercial marketing strategy across two UK sites.

This is a senior role within the Meetings & Events division, offering the opportunity to take ownership of brand, digital and revenue driving marketing activity across a portfolio of highly regarded conference and events spaces.

Location: London (hybrid working – 3 days on site per week)

Travel: Monthly travel to Liverpool

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Full time

The Opportunity:

Our client operates a collection of award-winning event venues in London and Liverpool, hosting conferences, corporate events and private functions. They are seeking a commercially minded Marketing Manager to develop and deliver an insight-led marketing strategy that drives revenue, enhances brand positioning and supports business growth.

This role will suit a strategic yet hands-on marketing leader with strong digital and CRM expertise who thrives in a collaborative, stakeholder-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver the overall marketing strategy to increase enquiries, conversions and revenue across both venues
  • Lead digital and CRM-led campaigns across web, email, social, SEO and paid channels, ensuring activity is data-driven and measurable
  • Align marketing activity with sales and business development objectives to support pipeline growth and account retention
  • Act as brand guardian, overseeing the creation of high-quality collateral, content and campaign messaging
  • Manage external agencies and partners to maximise PR, digital performance and market visibility
  • Lead performance reporting, using analytics and insight to optimise campaigns and inform strategic decisions
  • Line manage and develop sales and marketing executive team members
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver integrated, commercially focused marketing activity

Experience:

  • Proven experience in a marketing leadership role, ideally within events, venues, hospitality or a related sector
  • Strong track record of delivering digital and CRM-driven campaigns that generate measurable income
  • Confident developing multi-channel strategies and managing end-to-end campaign delivery
  • Commercially astute, analytical and results-driven
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and copywriting skills

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the marketing strategy for a respected and ambitious group of event venues.
