ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER (ENGINEERING & ARABIC SPEAKING) - QATAR
Our client, a well established firm in Qatar is looking for an Assistant General Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant willassist the General Manager in developing the long- and short-term business plans and strategies for growth.
Role brief:
- Continuously study and report the market scenario to increase or decrease the market share of our hosted products and possibilities for further introduction of new product lines or new lines of business.
- Assist in implementing the business plans and strategies of the management in various lines of business segment with reference to the key product lines, Projects
- Closely monitor in co-ordination with Operations Managers, Sales Managers, Work Managers, Head of Departments - the business of various showrooms and field sales workshops, project sites, on day-to-day basis and discuss with General Manager as per the requirements.
- Convene the meeting separately with each department on routine basis to review the business operations, involving the Line Managers, Chief Accountant, Project Engineer, Credit Control Supervisor, Inventory Supervisor, Admin. Supervisor, etc., as per the necessities, at least once in two months ( if not warranted on monthly basis) , to review the progress of business targets.
- Closely discuss and monitor the inventory levels of various products fortnightly basis, including Sales and Service.
- Assist General Manager in General Administration, wherever required.
- Temporarily act for G.M. during the absence of G.M.
- Approve all sundry expenses, for payment
What we are looking for:
- Relevant experience in managing / leading an organization of approx.. 400+ people
- Minimum Engineering Graduate with Master’s in Business administration .
- GCC experience of 8 years+ required.
Salary package: QAR30 000 - 35 000 + car, schooling, family status, insurance, tickets.
