An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a remote location experienced General Manager to lead a world-class luxury resort in the Maldives.
We are seeking a dynamic hospitality leader with a proven track record of delivering outstanding guest experiences, driving commercial performance, & developing high-performing teams within ultra-luxury resort environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership across all resort operations, ensuring seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
- Champion a guest-centric culture that consistently exceeds expectations and creates memorable, personalized stays.
- Lead and inspire a diverse, multicultural team while fostering a positive and engaged workplace environment.
- Drive operational excellence across Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Recreation, Spa, Engineering, and Support Services.
- Maintain the highest standards of luxury service, quality assurance, and brand compliance.
- Oversee financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Develop innovative guest experience initiatives that enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and reputation.
- Build strong relationships with owners, stakeholders, travel partners, and key industry contacts.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations, health and safety standards, and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements:
- Extensive General Manager experience within internationally recognised luxury resort brands.
- Proven success managing luxury island resorts or remote resort destinations.
- Strong background in guest experience, luxury service culture, & personalised hospitality.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large teams & create exceptional employee engagement.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- International hospitality experience within Forbes Five-Star, Leading Hotels, or equivalent luxury environments is highly advantageous.
