We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at a luxury lodge in Kenya. The successful candidate will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional culinary experiences for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage kitchen operations, costs, and inventory.
-Develop innovative menus using locally sourced ingredients.
-Maintain food safety, hygiene standards, and HACCP principles.
-Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team.
-Engage with guests to ensure their dietary needs and preferences are met.
Qualifications:
-Minimum 5+ years as an Executive Chef in a luxury environment.
-Experience in a remote lodge is advantageous.
-Culinary degree/diploma and strong leadership skills.
