Air Conditioning Engineer (Mobile – Commercial FM)

Location: Liverpool (field-based)
Salary: £44,000–£50,000 basic + overtime + van + fuel card + benefits
Hours: Monday–Friday, door-to-door pay, occasional out-of-hours rota

Due to continued growth, our client—a leading facilities management and HVAC contractor—is recruiting an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to cover commercial sites across London and the South East.

You will carry out planned preventive maintenance, reactive breakdowns, fault finding, and minor installations across a mixed estate of commercial and hospitality sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Servicing, testing, and maintaining split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF air conditioning systems.

• Diagnosing electrical and refrigeration faults and completing repairs to a high standard.

• Raising quotes and recommendations for remedial works and upgrades.

• Completing job sheets, service reports, and compliance documentation via a mobile app.

• Building strong relationships with site teams and clients, representing the business professionally on every visit.

• Minimum 2+ years' experience as a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer within FM or commercial contracting.

• Valid F-Gas Category 1 certification (City & Guilds 2079 or equivalent).

• Recognised HVAC/AC qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) or proven time-served experience.

• Confident working on major manufacturers (e.g., Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, LG, Toshiba, Fujitsu).

• Full, clean UK driving licence and comfortable working across a regional patch.

• Strong customer-facing skills, tidy appearance, and a safety-first mindset.
