How was the re-opening of your business and how was it carried out in line with safety procedures put in place to allow social distancing?

As a technology provider, we never shut but put everybody working from home and have maintained this through the summer. In the office we have installed perspex partitions around each desk in preparation for a return to work.

How is the general feeling and feedback from your team members and your customers now the lockdown is over?

Well, we are now back in lockdown, so people are growing weary and being creative in how they maintain personal motivation and engagement as the situation remains fluid.

What role has technology played in supporting your re-opening plan? 

We are using our remote GPS clock-in and the pre-shift questionnaire to maintain contactless clock-in/out and keep a check on staff’s health and contacts

What market trends are you seeing since re-opening?

A greater sense of community, we are in this together and should support each other.

What techniques have you used to build sales and re-engage customers? 

Focus on empathy and understand the customers' biggest problems and help to resolve them.

What positive lessons do we need to learn from what the industry has been through?

Technology is an enabler of freeing up time so people can do what they are best at and love most, spending quality time with staff, customers, family and friends.
