Our CORE Leadership Series bring inspiring industry leaders to life through in-depth interviews.

In this interview, we speak to Jonathan Davies, CEO at Levy UK&I,  who shares his career journey, sustainability, innovation and some of the interesting data, tech they are using across their venues to improve both productivity and guests/fans experience.

About LEVY UK&I: they are the market-leading sports and entertainment hospitality division of the FTSE 100 Compass Group, specialising in elevating experiences across the UK, Ireland, Europe and beyond at some of the world's most iconic stadia, entertainment venues, and marquee events.

The brand’s story began in 1978 in Chicago, founded by brothers Larry and Mark Levy with a single family-run deli, before they pioneered the "pro premium" concept by introducing fine dining into Major League sports stadiums in the 1980s. Following their acquisition by the British firm Compass Group in 2006, the brand officially expanded its dedicated UK and Ireland arm in 2007, scaling the American "fan-first" philosophy to suit the British market.

Today, Levy are the engine behind the match-day and event experiences at legendary sites such as The Championships, Wimbledon (AELTC), Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, The O2, and the Allianz Stadium (Twickenham). Beyond traditional catering, Levy are driven by a mission to succeed in the right way. From pioneering tech to seamless operations, show-stopping menus to exceptional service, Levy use data and insights to understand guest behaviour and the customer journey while minimising environmental impact and supporting local communities. Levy are a passionate, diverse, and talented team of venue specialists dedicated to making the planet better for future generations.
