I am Sonny and I am the Operations Team Lead and Head of UK Retail here at CORE. 

I have been with the business for 5 years after joining when I was 22, fresh out of a fairly short career in restaurant & bar management. 

I was always pretty good and talking to people and building firm relationships along with having a strong passion for hospitality and the service industry. 

CORE allowed me to take a step back away from the day-to-day operations whilst still having an impact from a HR/recruitment perspective, the mix was perfect, and I have had the best 5 years growing my career. 

I came to CORE as a cocky 22-year-old with not many responsibilities, CORE has supported me in not only my professional growth but my personal growth into a responsible (I like to think so) dad of 2 young girls and I generally feel like the company has played a huge part in shaping who I am today. 

I have always been allowed to be myself and express any ideas that I have even the ridiculous ones, as we grow as business there is even more opportunity for anyone thinking about joining or anyone who has recently joined to grow & develop their career not only in recruitment but also management.
