She is the founder of Moonlight Experiences, an award-winning company dedicated to the celebration of diverse queer culture and travel by harnessing the economic power of tourism and nightlife. Aishaโs activism and community contributions also extend to her role as Manager at The Common Press, Head of Community Engagement for UK Black Pride, and as a Trustee for GiveOut.
๐ ๐๐น๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ถ๐-๐๐ฟ๐๐ฐ๐ฒ: Alex is an award-winning third sector leader, campaigner and policy adviser with a track record of driving social change and developing organisations either advocating for or delivering direct services to some of the most marginalised and oppressed people in society. He is the CEO of Diversity Role Models, which was recently named Charity of the Year in the Rainbow Honours 2024. Prior to becoming CEO Diversity Role Models, he had a wealth of experience both as a leader in the NGO-sector and as a political advisor. He was the founding CEO of the award-winning national sex worker safety charity National Ugly Mugs and has worked internationally advising organisations supporting sex workers and LGBTQ+ people. He has also spoken extensively in the media about his own lived experience as a survivor of sexual violence and also someone who was assaulted by homophobic Metropolitan Police Officers. He has won a number of awards recognising his contribution including being one of the top five Local Leaders for โextraordinary work in a regional area or niche fieldโ at the 2022 Pinknews Awards, and the Highly Commended Rising Leader at the Charity Times Awards in 2020. He was also included in the last ever Independent On Sunday Rainbow List of the 100 most influential LGBT+ people in the UK.
