Interview with : Ashleigh Halpin, HR & Mindfulness Consultant, Imperium mindfulness

Tell us about your biggest challenges in re-scaling post pandemic

The biggest challenge is tapping into corporate companies from a well-being angle…going from just seeing mental well-being as a tick box and something that can positively impact the business on an ongoing basis.

Have you found that your customer base has changed? If so, then how?

My costumer base is expanding in the copperas world, but more work needs to be done to go from a reactive approach in the space of well-being to proactive.

Everyone is using technology in new ways – can you give some examples of how this has been adapted in your business

Zoom is now my life. I always wanted to move to a fully digital business and the pandemic was a bit of a blessing in disguise for this….

Employee mental health and wellbeing are very much at the forefront of everyone’s thinking. What are you doing within your business to support your teams?

I am so passionate about well-being in the workplace and it’s my life’s purpose and passion to shine light on mindfulness and well-being in the workplace.

When looking for advice/guidance/support where do you look?

I have a business coach and I invest a lot in my own well-being a self-development. I believe we need to continually work on ourselves to be the best version of ourselves and to be a role model for well-being in the corporate world

What do you think the next 12 months looks like, what are you planning for?

I think the world of digital will keep growing. Although hybrid working will also be a model living forward, I believe the world has changed 360. I think zoom, team’s life is here to stay, and the world of home working will continue.

If you could go back to Feb 2020 and give yourself some advice, what would you say?

My second child was born 6 weeks before lockdown in Feb 2020…I wouldn’t change a thing. We went into a global pandemic and my online mindfulness business has growth month on month. I will be forever grateful for the change of life we have had because of this pandemic.

Ashleigh, thank you!
